Svyrydenko spoke about the significant outcomes of the conference in Gdańsk

The URC2026 Conference on Ukraine’s Recovery in Gdańsk has already resulted in approximately 160 agreements totaling more than 10 billion euros, Yulia Svyrydenko reported. These are the preliminary results of the event, which is taking place June 25–26 and focuses on attracting investment and supporting Ukraine’s reconstruction.

According to the head of government, this result is the culmination of a year’s worth of work by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the entire Ukrainian team. Among the conference’s key agreements are:

  • 3.2 billion euros—the first tranche of a new European Union financial instrument;
  • $3.4 billion – an agreement with the World Bank;
  • the launch of the European Flagship Fund for Ukraine’s Reconstruction;
  • the creation of the Ukraine Transport Support Fund;
  • 140 million euros for housing programs;
  • an agreement with the European Investment Bank on the restoration and protection of roads in frontline regions;
  • new partnerships in the defense industry and energy sectors.

“This day has once again confirmed that Ukraine and Europe share a common path, common values, and a common future,” Svyrydenko wrote.

Earlier, the head of government reported that this year’s URC was the largest in the conference’s history in terms of the scale of business cooperation: more than 80 Ukrainian companies and about 2,000 business representatives from around the world participated in the accompanying business forum. According to Svyrydenko, a new Energy Platform will serve as a dedicated initiative—a permanent mechanism for coordinating international support for Ukraine’s energy sector.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Prime Minister also held separate talks with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The parties discussed deepening cooperation in the energy sector, particularly collaboration between Ukraine’s Naftogaz and Poland’s Orlen, as well as prospects for new joint projects.

“Ukraine and Poland share many common issues, challenges, and interests today,” Svyrydenko noted following her meeting with Tusk.

The Prime Minister commended the high level of organization of the conference and emphasized that Polish businesses continue to show significant interest in participating in Ukraine’s reconstruction. According to her, Kyiv and Warsaw are continuing to work on solutions aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
