Trump gave Iran another 48 hours to reach an agreement

U.S. President Donald Trump has once again extended the deadline by which Iran must reach an agreement with Washington on American terms. The Iranians have just two days left.

Trump wrote about this on the social media platform Truth Social.

Trump reminded that he had previously given Iran 10 days to reach an agreement or open the Strait of Hormuz.

“Time is running out—48 hours remain before all hell breaks loose on them,” the U.S. president stated.

As a reminder, the Iranian military reported a drone strike on a ship linked to Israel in the Strait of Hormuz. The MSC Ishyka caught fire after the attack.

Israeli military officials report airstrikes on Beirut. Command centers of the Quds Force (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) and Hezbollah headquarters were hit.

Additionally, following an airstrike near the Iraq-Iran border, the Shalamcheh border crossing was closed. At least one person was killed, and several others were wounded. Traffic through the crossing has been temporarily halted.
