Trump explained his use of profanity in his statement on Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that in a post on Truth Social, in which he threatened Iran over Easter, he used profanity solely to make his position clearer.

CNN reported this.

On April 5, Trump wrote on Truth Social that Tuesday in Iran would be “both a day of power plants and a day of bridges.”

"Nothing like this will ever happen again! Open that damn strait, you deranged scoundrels, or you’ll be in hell—watch out!" the White House chief wrote at the time.

During an Easter event at the White House on Monday, a journalist asked why the American leader had used profanity. Trump replied: “Just to get my point across. I think you’ve heard that before.”

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he is seriously considering the possibility of the United States withdrawing from NATO. According to him, this is due to the fact that the Alliance did not join the U.S. operation against Iran.
