Trump said Iran's oil infrastructure could be destroyed in three days — Fox News

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Iran was allegedly on the brink of a major accident involving its oil infrastructure due to the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

Fox News reported this.

According to Trump, due to the restrictions, Iran has lost the ability to export oil, and its storage tanks are nearly full, which could lead to a critical overload of the system.

He claims that the country has “about three days left” before an internal infrastructure explosion could occur.

Trump also stated that even if operations resume, the system will operate at a maximum of half its current capacity.

In addition, he made a series of statements regarding the war with Iran, specifically regarding significant losses to Iranian military capabilities, the U.S. refusal to travel to Pakistan for negotiations, and the intention to end the conflict.

At the same time, he emphasized that Iran must not possess nuclear weapons and criticized NATO for failing to provide sufficient support to the U.S.

It should be noted that Washington and Tehran are resuming dialogue in Islamabad following an initial attempt at a settlement, which concluded on April 12 without significant results.

Prior to this, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Iran has repeatedly violated the ceasefire since its implementation between Washington and Tehran. According to Trump, there have been numerous incidents that cast doubt on Iran’s compliance with the ceasefire agreements.

On the eve of a possible resumption of direct talks between the U.S. and Iran in Pakistan, Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Roger Wicker publicly called on President Donald Trump to continue strikes against Tehran.
