Trump Threatened Iran with New Consequences if It Withdraws from the Deal – CNN
U.S. President Donald Trump has stepped up his rhetoric regarding Iran, calling on Tehran to agree to a deal with Washington. The American leader stated that otherwise the country would face devastating consequences, emphasizing that “no one will be left” if a compromise is not reached.
“You’d better make a deal. You’ll have no one left,” Trump said.
The president continued, noting that the U.S. “is very careful about the civilian population,” after which he repeated: “But I said: you’d better make a deal. You’ll have nothing left.”
Trump noted that this message to Iran was conveyed during the most recent communication between his representatives and Tehran, which, he said, took place “about an hour ago.”
When asked if he believed Iran would reach such a deal, Trump replied: “They have to. I don’t know if they will or not.”

Earlier, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hagseth warned Iran of the consequences of supporting the Houthis. He made this statement even though the U.S. has resumed negotiations with Iran regarding its nuclear program.
