U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he had postponed the strikes on Iran scheduled for tomorrow at the request of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. At the same time, he emphasized that U.S. troops would remain on full combat alert.

This was reported with reference to Trump’s statement on his social media platform, Truth Social.

According to him, the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, and the President of the UAE, Mohammed bin Zayed, believe that the parties can reach an agreement acceptable to the U.S. and the countries of the Middle East.

The American leader noted that for this reason, they have asked the U.S. to postpone a military operation. Trump added that this agreement may involve Iran renouncing nuclear weapons.

At the same time, the U.S. president noted that he had ordered U.S. troops to remain on standby for a “full-scale offensive” against Iran if an acceptable agreement is not reached.
