Trump urged Iran to sign the nuclear deal quickly
U.S. President Donald Trump urged Iran to reach an agreement as soon as possible amid stalled negotiations and reports of a possible extension of the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports.
In a post on Truth Social, he stated that Tehran is incapable of making a decision to abandon nuclear weapons.
Trump emphasized that Iran should “come to its senses quickly” and agree to a deal, without specifying its possible terms.
The post also featured a doctored image captioned “No more nice guy,” in which Trump is depicted wearing dark sunglasses and holding a machine gun.
Iran has again restricted ship traffic through the Strait of Hormuz following the conflict with the U.S. Tehran claims this is a response to Washington’s actions.
Trump stated that the US wants to obtain Iranian uranium by any means necessary.
