Trump lost his voice during negotiations with Iran — Senator Graham

U.S. President Donald Trump is personally involved in the negotiations, Senator Lindsey Graham said. During a phone call with the Iranian side, Trump raised his voice at his counterparts and subsequently lost his voice.

This was stated on Fox News by Republican Senator Lindsey Graham.

According to the senator, Trump is directly negotiating with Iranian representatives.

"He spoke on the phone with the Iranians a few days ago, and the conversation became quite tense—so much so that Trump told Iran loudly what would happen if they continued to play games. He actually lost his voice. I wouldn’t want to be the Iranian on the other end of that conversation,” Graham said.

He admitted that the fact that the U.S. president personally participated in the negotiations came as a surprise to him.

Negotiations between the U.S. and Iranian delegations took place on April 11 in Islamabad (Pakistan) and lasted nearly 24 hours—about 21 hours.

The American side was led by Vice President J.D. Vance, while Iran was represented by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi.
