U.S. President Donald Trump has once again stated that Greenland should be under U.S. control, not Denmark’s. According to him, the island is of strategic importance to U.S. security.
Trump claims that Denmark is not investing enough in Greenland’s security, while Russian and Chinese ships are operating near the island. He also noted that disputes over Greenland have negatively affected his relationship with NATO.
