Transavia is canceling some flights due to rising fuel costs
The Dutch airline Transavia will cancel some of its flights in May and June due to a sharp rise in jet fuel prices.
This was reported by Hart van Nederland.
According to the carrier, the cuts will affect approximately 2% of flights. The reason is the rise in fuel prices amid the escalating situation in the Middle East.
Passengers on canceled flights will be offered alternatives: free rebooking, vouchers, or a full refund.
In addition, the company has already raised ticket prices—by an average of 10 euros—due to rising costs.
