Oil prices fall amid escalating US-Iran conflict
Brent crude oil prices dropped to $84 per barrel following former President Trump’s statement that the war with Iran will end soon. He noted that the US is ahead of schedule by four to five weeks and is considering further easing oil sanctions against Russia.
Meanwhile, Iran is shifting to full-scale warfare, with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) now deploying only heavy missiles carrying 1000 kg warheads. Each missile can destroy fortified bunkers or entire city blocks. The range, intensity, and duration of these attacks are also set to increase.
This development signals further escalation in the regional conflict and could have a significant immediate impact on global energy markets.
