Turkey is ready to host the next round of talks between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that his country is ready to host the next round of peace talks involving Ukraine, the United States, and Russia. This is the outcome of his talks with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Zelenskyy arrived in Turkey on a visit, where he met with the Turkish head of state. During the meeting, the Ukrainian president shared details of his contacts with the American team with Erdogan.

Erdogan, in turn, assured that Turkey is “ready to play a significant role in achieving a lasting peace for Ukraine,” and that the country supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state.

“The President of Turkey also confirmed that his country is ready to host the next round of negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine, the United States, and Russia,” the post stated.

As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Turkey, where he discussed current issues with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Additionally, there are currently 14 vessels owned by Turkish owners in the Strait of Hormuz. Turkish authorities are negotiating the withdrawal of 11 of them from the area.
