Türkiye condemns Israeli groups’ entry into Al-Aqsa Mosque — Anadolu Agency

According to Anadolu Agency, Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry on September 27 condemned the entry of Israeli extremist groups into the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated that the groups acted under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. Ankara also called on the international community to take deterrent measures against Israel.

Statement by the Turkish Foreign Ministry

The Turkish ministry accused the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of seeking to further escalate tensions in the region. The ministry’s statement said that violations and provocations against Muslim holy sites are intended to undermine efforts to strengthen peace and stability.
