United Hatzalah to send drone team to Greece to search for tourist — Jerusalem Post
United Hatzalah plans to send a search-and-rescue team with drones to Greece to join the search for Israeli tourist Ami Yogev, who went missing in the Mount Olympus area.
Searches in hard-to-reach terrain
As the Jerusalem Post reports, Yogev's family turned to United Hatzalah for help after losing contact with him. The drone team will work jointly with local Greek forces and focus on areas that are difficult to reach on foot.
According to United Hatzalah, its drones are equipped with thermal imagers, lighting and loudspeakers. The team will also have satellite communications equipment, radios, survival gear and medical supplies.

Last contact with the tourist
The family told journalists that 46-year-old Ami Yogev set out on a hike in the Mount Olympus area on Sunday, September 20. Shortly afterward, contact with him was lost. His last known contact was with his mother: he sent her a photograph from the second stop on the route.
The tourist's brother, Shlomi, is in Greece and is assisting with the search. United Hatzalah has also launched a fundraiser to continue the search-and-rescue operation. Israel's Foreign Ministry said that the Israeli consul in Athens and the department for Israelis abroad are in contact with local authorities to help establish the tourist's whereabouts.
