A program to prepare citizens for crisis situations has launched in Belgium

The Belgian government has launched a national initiative urging the public to be prepared to meet their basic needs independently for 72 hours in the event of an emergency. The program calls for the creation of home supplies of water, food, and first-aid kits, as well as the preparation of "emergency bags" in case of evacuation due to climate or geopolitical crises.

This was reported by the Belga news agency, noting that the first phase of the campaign focuses on access to verified information through the BE-Alert system.

The National Crisis Center will engage local authorities to adapt the recommendations, particularly regarding actions during nuclear incidents. The initiative aims to increase societal resilience and reduce the burden on emergency services during large-scale crises, similar to those arising in Russia or other regions due to instability.

Russia may attack Europe if China invades Taiwan, according to the NATO Secretary General.

Dictator Putin, ahead of a meeting with an American delegation comprising U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, stated that Russia is allegedly ready to go to war with Europe but has no such intention.

In the event of a Russian attack on NATO members, the Alliance could launch a preemptive strike against targets on Russian territory, according to Admiral Rob Bauer, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy considers it entirely possible that Russia could open a second front against another European country even before the war in Ukraine ends.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Russian army could attack a NATO member state within the next five years. This would test the Alliance’s resilience.
