In Britain, resident doctors have begun a six-day strike
Tens of thousands of medical residents in England have begun a six-day strike after rejecting the government’s proposal for a pay raise. In Britain, medical professionals are demanding better pay conditions and have rejected the proposed changes.
Sky News reports this.
The strike will continue until the morning of April 13, as Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s 48-hour ultimatum expired without an agreement being reached.
The British Medical Association (BMA) stated that the government’s proposal is insufficient to compensate for years of wage cuts and staffing issues.

NHS England stated that medical teams across the country will make every effort to minimize inconvenience to patients during the strike.
The BMA has repeatedly stated that real incomes in the National Health Service have plummeted over the past decade, while the number of vacancies has risen.
