Jeddah to host Hajj conference and exhibition in November

The sixth Hajj Conference and Exhibition will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from November 8 to 11. The event is organized by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in cooperation with the Pilgrim Experience Program, one of the Saudi Vision 2030 programs. The conference will be held under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

As Asharq Al-Awsat reports, more than 520 local and international government, private and non-profit entities, as well as representatives of government, business and the third sector, are expected to take part in the event.

Preparations for the Hajj season

The conference is intended to serve as a platform for early preparations for the next Hajj season. Participants will discuss operational and regulatory issues, finalize contracts, present solutions and initiatives, establish partnerships and improve readiness for the new season.

The conference program will consist of three tracks. The first will focus on infrastructure and operational services, including transport, logistics, infrastructure and facility management, accommodation, hospitality and catering. The second will cover security, healthcare, media and communications, technology and innovation. The third track will address sustainability, the third sector, entrepreneurship, training and improving the pilgrim experience.

Hajj services exhibition

An exhibition dedicated to the Hajj services ecosystem will be held in parallel. It will bring together organizations and providers of services and solutions from more than 150 countries. The sectors represented will include aviation, transport, hospitality, healthcare, infrastructure, technology, innovation, human resources, investment and business development.

The previous conference and exhibition attracted more than 204,000 visitors and 270 exhibitors from over 150 countries. It featured 134 specialized sessions and seminars, while more than 2,600 people from different countries took part in training programs.
