Doris Emma Doryumu dies in Ghana
In Ghana, the Adum, Dav, Doryumu families and related families announced the death of Doris Emma Doryumu, née Dove. She died on July 30, 2026, at the age of 96, according to an announcement published by MyJoyOnline.
Ceremony in Accra
According to the families, there will be no pre-funeral gathering. The farewell and funeral ceremony are scheduled for Friday, September 25, at Accra Ridge Church in Accra.
A farewell by the coffin is due to take place at 8:00. A funeral service, thanksgiving service and memorial ceremony are scheduled for 9:15. The burial will be held privately.

Final rites
The final funeral rites are also scheduled for September 25 at Wanshi Gardens, Asylum Down. Participants were asked to wear black clothing.
The announcement names the deceased's children as Dr Bernard Doryumu, Mr Casely Doryumu, Mrs Shirley Laryea, Mr Francis Doryumu and Mrs Easterlene Afful. The families invited everyone wishing to express condolences.
