Woman detained in Kenya over bhang found in bread — Nation Kenya
In Nairobi, Kenya, police detained a 26-year-old woman after parcels of bhang were found in a loaf of bread she had brought to her boyfriend at Buruburu Police Station. This was reported by Nation Kenya.
Suspicious package
The woman came to Buruburu Police Station in Nairobi's Eastlands area to visit her boyfriend, who is in custody. She asked police officers to give him a loaf of bread.
According to the publication, the unsealed package aroused the officers' suspicion. During an inspection of the bread, they found five parcels of bhang and a matchbox inside.

Another seven parcels in her pocket
Kenya's Directorate of Criminal Investigations said that after the discovery, the woman was additionally searched. According to the agency, another seven parcels of bhang were found in her jacket pocket.
In total, law enforcement officers reported 12 seized parcels. The woman is in custody, and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations said she is to be taken to court.
