Return of the body to Israel
After the death was reported, the Chabad updates website said that the Chabad emissary in the city, Rabbi Levi Vanunu, is working with local authorities and the Israeli Embassy in Colombia.
According to The Jerusalem Post, the relevant authorities have begun processing the necessary bureaucratic procedures to return the body to Israel for burial as soon as possible. Rabbi Vanunu is in contact with the deceased's family and is supporting them.
