Training exercises involving Black Hawk helicopter crews, including live-fire drills, took place in Lithuania

Lithuania conducted training exercises for Black Hawk helicopter crews, including live-fire drills, to enhance combat readiness in response to threats from Russia. 

During the exercises, service members practiced providing air support, engaging ground targets, and coordinating between pilots and gunners using modified 7.62-mm M240 machine guns. 

The Lithuanian Air Force emphasized that the integration of these helicopters is an important step toward enhancing the army’s mobility and meeting NATO standards.

“These exercises were an important stage in crew training, as they allowed pilots and flight crew members to practice helicopter fire support missions under real-world conditions. engaging ground targets,” stated the Lithuanian Air Force press service.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Russian army could attack a NATO member country within the next five years. This would test the alliance’s resilience.

Before meeting with an American delegation consisting of U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, dictator Putin stated that Russia is allegedly ready to go to war with Europe but has no such intention.

In the event of a Russian attack on NATO members, the Alliance could launch a preemptive strike against targets on Russian territory, according to Admiral Rob Bauer, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy considers it entirely possible that Russia could open a second front against another European country even before the war in Ukraine ends.
