In the Melbourne suburb of Ferntree Gully, a 45-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a 30-year-old woman at her home. The man appeared before the Melbourne Magistrates' Court, which remanded him in custody, ABC News Australia reports.
Call to the house
Emergency services arrived at an address on Ferntree Gully Road in Ferntree Gully shortly before 10:00 on Friday. A 30-year-old woman with injuries was found inside the house.
Despite attempts to provide assistance, the woman died at the scene. According to ABC News Australia, the incident occurred in eastern Melbourne.
