The Minneapolis Police Department said it was working at the scene of the shooting in the area of 15 E Grant St., where there were several victims. According to the agency, the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon.
City authorities urged residents to avoid the area from 12th Street to Franklin Avenue and from Hennepin Avenue to 3rd Avenue South.
