Gasoline prices have skyrocketed in Moscow

A noticeable increase in fuel prices has been recorded in Moscow. According to the Moscow Fuel Association, the weighted average prices for all major types of fuel rose during the week of May 25 to June 1. Diesel fuel rose by 56 kopecks to 78.49 rubles per liter. AI-92 gasoline rose by 24 kopecks to 64.67 rubles per liter, while AI-95 rose by 35 kopecks to 71.46 rubles per liter.

This is reported by Russian propaganda media.

The main reason for the price spike was a sharp increase in fuel prices at gas stations in the private “Neftmagistral” network. There, the price per liter of AI-92 gasoline rose by 3 rubles at once (to 67.4 rubles), while AI-95 and diesel fuel rose by 5 rubles (to 76.29 and 83.68 rubles, respectively).

In parallel with the price increases, according to some media reports, restrictions on fuel sales have begun to be introduced in New Moscow—no more than 60 liters of gasoline and 100 liters of diesel fuel are being sold to a single customer. However, there is no official confirmation of this information.
