German authorities are investigating the death of a police officer during training exercises
An investigation has been launched in Germany into the circumstances surrounding the death of a member of the federal police special forces during a shooting exercise. The incident occurred at a military training ground in Putlos, in the north of the country. Law enforcement officials are investigating the circumstances of the incident and the cause of the officer’s death.
This was reported by the police, according to Reuters.
According to police, the incident occurred on the evening of May 11 during a training exercise.
Preliminary findings indicate that the shot was accidental.
