Two brothers allegedly set on fire by fuel sellers in Pakistan — Dawn
In Chak Jhumra near Faisalabad, Pakistan, two brothers were allegedly doused with petrol and set on fire by illegal fuel sellers after a dispute over its price. As Dawn reports, the incident occurred on Saturday near the Nullah Wala Bypass Road Chowk intersection.
Dispute over petrol price
According to the publication, 25-year-old Nadeem Qadir and 35-year-old Hafiz Noman Qadir bought petrol for a motorcycle from an illegal seller. A confrontation then broke out between the parties because the brothers believed they had been charged more than the actual price of the fuel.
Reports cited by Dawn claim that three sellers, identified as Haider Ali, Muhammad Wasim, and Hammad Malik, doused the brothers with petrol and set them on fire. Local residents extinguished the flames, and rescue workers took the victims to hospital.

Victims transferred to burn unit
The injured men were initially taken to the THQ hospital in Chak Jhumra. Doctors later referred them to the burn unit of Allied Hospital in Faisalabad.
According to Dawn, those accused of the attack fled the scene on a motorcycle. Police are conducting raids to detain them.
