In Sillanwali tehsil near Sargodha, Pakistan, environmental department officials sealed five brick kilns over alleged violations of environmental requirements. The raid took place as part of the Punjab provincial government's anti-smog campaign, Dawn reports.

Inspection of enterprises

The actions were carried out by local Environmental Protection Department officials on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry. The raid was led by Muhammad Rana, Deputy Director of the Environmental Protection Department.
