In Palestine, Israeli forces wounded a Palestinian man in the Ras al-Amud area of Silwan in occupied East Jerusalem. According to Anadolu Agency, citing the Jerusalem Governorate, the man sustained moderate injuries from gunfire.
The Ras al-Amud area is located in Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Jerusalem Governorate provided no further details about the incident.

The shooting occurred at the beginning of the Jewish holiday period. According to the agency, reports often emerge during this time in Jerusalem of increased Israeli incursions into the Al-Aqsa compound and attacks on Palestinians.
