One of the key events was the launch of the Global Smart Schools Program—an international cooperation initiative for sharing best practices and case studies from China, the Netherlands, Singapore, Canada, and Kenya. The program identifies five areas for the development of smart schools, including AI-assisted learning, digital training for teachers, and collaboration between schools, families, and communities.

China’s Deputy Minister of Education, Zhen Yucun, announced the “AI Plus Education” action plan, which calls for the integration of digital resources at all levels of education. UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education Tang Qian emphasized the sustainable, equitable, and people-centered implementation of technology, as well as the shared use of resources.
