In South Korea, Unchild single release postponed with no new date — Korea Herald
In South Korea, the female K-pop group Unchild has still not announced a new release date for its second single after agency High Up Entertainment abruptly postponed it. The single Ting Ting was scheduled for release on September 2, and its promotional campaign was already underway.
Announcement on the eve of release
On August 24, High Up Entertainment announced through the group’s official channels that the single’s release had been postponed due to “internal circumstances within the company.” The agency apologized to fans and said it would publish an updated schedule after plans had been finalized.
According to Korea Herald, promotional materials had been released on schedule until the day of the announcement. Teasers had already been published, and listeners had been introduced to part of the song. The postponement occurred at a late stage of a typical K-pop group promotional campaign.

Pause after debut
As of September 20, nearly a month after the agency’s statement, High Up Entertainment had not provided new details about the release. New content and communication from the group’s members had also largely ceased.
Unchild debuted in April 2026 with the mini-album We Are Unchild. It is High Up Entertainment’s first new girl group after StayC. Unchild includes Haeun, who gained early recognition after appearing on the program Star King in 2013.
