In the West Bank, 104 teachers could not reach schools — Anadolu Agency
In the occupied West Bank, Palestine, Israeli forces closed the Tayasir and Ein al-Shibli checkpoints in the northern part of the region. As a result, 104 Palestinian teachers were unable to reach schools. According to Anadolu Agency, citing the Wafa agency, this was reported by Tubas Governorate Education Director Azmi Balawneh.
Impact on education
According to Balawneh, the checkpoint closures disrupted classes at six schools and one kindergarten attended by approximately 1,100 students. The military closed the two crossing points as part of broader military restrictions in the occupied West Bank.

Raid in Al-Mughayyir
Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out a raid in the village of Al-Mughayyir, located east of Ramallah in the central West Bank, local sources reported. According to them, the military blocked the main entrance to the village and detained dozens of Palestinians.
The sources also reported that a large military force entered the village early Sunday morning, deployed across its neighborhoods, and searched Palestinian homes. According to them, infantry units, military vehicles, and a drone took part in the raid. The closure of the village entrance made it difficult to attend school and prevented workers and employees from reaching their workplaces, the sources added.
