A woman will stand trial in Poland for attacking Ukrainian children
A 26-year-old woman was detained in Legnica, Poland, on suspicion of assaulting two 13-year-old Ukrainian girls and a boy near a swimming pool. According to the investigation, the altercation began after the children spoke in Ukrainian.
According to police, the woman harassed the children several times and later struck them. Following an investigation, law enforcement identified her, detained her, and handed her over to the prosecutor’s office.
The suspect has been charged with causing bodily harm and coercion through the use of violence or threats. The court also ordered her to stay away from the victims and the location where the incident occurred. The woman faces up to 7.5 years in prison.
