Artillery shells from World War II were found in a forest in Poland
Two unexploded artillery shells from World War II were discovered in the Polish village of Brody in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship.
The munitions were found on July 16 in a wooded area. According to police, the shells were approximately 40 cm long and 10 cm in diameter.
After receiving the report, law enforcement officers cordoned off the site and secured the area until the arrival of bomb disposal experts from Kraków.
The experts removed the explosive devices and safely defused them.

The bill is currently in the internal drafting stage. The Polish government has not yet announced when the document might be submitted to parliament for consideration, according to Defence24.
