Poland has announced when the rotation of U.S. troops will end

Polish Defense Minister Vladislav Kosiniak-Kamysz announced that the rotation of U.S. military personnel in Poland is in its final stages. According to him, the unit rotation is scheduled to be completed within the next few weeks.

Kosiniak-Kamysz announced that he had spoken with the Deputy U.S. Ambassador to Poland and the military attaché and was informed by them that the suspended rotation of U.S. troops would resume.

“The rotation (of U.S. troops), which was suspended a few weeks ago, is resuming—it will continue,” he said.

Kosiniak-Kamysz called this a “positive sign.”

Earlier, the minister announced the “next stage” of negotiations with the U.S. regarding the American base.

Typically, about 10,000 U.S. military personnel are stationed in Poland, most of whom are there on a rotational basis.

This was reported by RMF24.

Poland has criticized the government’s decision to declassify information about military aid to Ukraine.

As a reminder, there was outrage in Poland over the alleged secret transfer of scarce Patriot missiles to Ukraine.

The day before, Kosiniak-Kamysz announced that, following consultations with Prime Minister Donald Tusk, he had ordered the declassification of information regarding all Polish military deliveries to Ukraine from 2022 to 2026. He also ordered the Military Counterintelligence Service to identify those involved in the possible disclosure of state secrets.
