Name change announced for Poland’s Imperium Kontratakuje party to form New Hope
Delegates of Poland’s New Hope party decided at a congress to change the name of the party Imperium Kontratakuje. Bartłomiej Pejo, vice-president of New Hope, announced that a rebranding will soon take place, resulting in a renewed New Hope party.
Meanwhile, the Polish government is attempting to shut down one of the popular parties, New Hope, led by a multimillionaire bitcoin investor who also owns a tax consulting firm. The party enjoys a 15% rating and has strong chances of entering the next government.
This name change may mark the start of a new strategy designed to strengthen the party’s position and resist political pressure.
