A Latvian forum on the export of dual-use products will be held in Rēzekne
The Latvian Dual-Use Export Forum—a forum on the export of dual-use products and technologies—will take place in Rēzekne, Latvia, on September 6–7. According to the organizers, as reported by LSM English, more than 150 representatives from 19 countries are expected to participate in the event.
The forum will bring together manufacturers of defense products and dual-use goods, technology companies, investors, suppliers, and systems integrators seeking partnerships and business opportunities in the Baltic region. Rēzekne is located in Latgale—a region on the eastern border of Latvia, the European Union, and NATO.
According to the organizers, companies from the United States, Germany, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Estonia, and other countries have registered for the event. Among the international participants are GDELS, Analog Devices, HISDESAT, Gühring, Fischer Panda, and Sine Engineering. In total, representatives from approximately 50 international and up to 120 Latvian companies are expected to attend.

On September 6, as part of Industry Day, there will be demonstrations of defense technologies, an introduction to Latvia’s defense innovation ecosystem, visits to the companies LEAX Rēzekne, Bee Tactics, and VEREMS, as well as business meetings. The main program on September 7 will take place at the GORS concert hall in Rēzekne. It will feature panel discussions on the development of the defense industry and dual-use production, presentations by Latvian companies, an exhibition area, and one-on-one meetings with potential clients, investors, suppliers, and system integrators from NATO and the EU.
On September 8, international delegations and other interested participants will have the opportunity to visit companies in Riga. The event is organized by the Latvian Exporters’ Association, The Red Jackets, in collaboration with the Latvian Investment and Development Agency, the Ministry of Economy, and the Ministry of Defense of Latvia.
