In Russia, Central Bank employees will be allowed to carry weapons to defend against drones
The Central Bank of Russia plans to allow employees to use weapons and anti-drone measures to protect facilities from attacks.
This is reported by Russian media.
The Russian State Duma is preparing a bill for consideration that would grant the regulator’s staff the right to use devices to jam drone signals and shoot them down. There are also plans to install security systems around buildings.
The initiators note that such measures will be funded by the organizations themselves, specifically the Central Bank and other major institutions.
