On Thursday evening, a flight to Germany was canceled at Macedonia Airport in Thessaloniki after a bird was found in one of the plane’s engines.
Due to the incident, more than 150 passengers were unable to depart and were forced to remain at the airport. The airline canceled the flight for safety reasons.
The flight was scheduled for early Thursday evening, but passengers waited several hours before the airline informed them that the flight could not proceed for safety reasons.
This incident triggered standard safety procedures, and the airline took the necessary steps to remove the bird and conduct a technical inspection of the aircraft.
Passengers were informed that their flight would depart on Friday.
