Couple in Seoul criticized over photo shoot in Namsan Tunnel No. 3
In Seoul, an engaged couple was criticized over a wedding photo shoot in Namsan Tunnel No. 3. The author of a Threads post said that the couple and their team blocked one of the traffic lanes without permission for the shoot. The Korea Herald reports.

The photos were posted on Threads on Tuesday. They show a woman in a white dress and a man in a black suit posing by the tunnel wall. According to the post’s author, the photos were taken on August 25.
The images also show a white car standing in one of the tunnel’s two lanes, with traffic cones behind it. The author wrote that they initially assumed there had been an accident because of the cones, but later realized that the car had been stopped for the photo shoot.

Whether there was permission
The post’s author claimed that the couple and their team blocked the lane without permission. At the same time, The Korea Herald notes that it is unknown whether the participants in the photo shoot had official permission to film.
South Korea’s Road Act provides for up to two years in prison or a fine of up to 20 million won — approximately $14,595 — for occupying a public road without permission from the relevant authorities. The Road Traffic Act also prohibits obstructing traffic by being on the roadway or placing objects on it. Internet users called the couple’s actions selfish and said that the photo studio that conducted the shoot should also bear responsibility.
