Russians were detained in Sweden near the home of Saab's CEO
In Sweden, law enforcement officers detained two Russian citizens who hold residence permits in Spain after they pitched a tent near the home of Mikael Johansson, CEO of the defense company Saab.
According to the detainees, they had come to the area to go fishing, but Swedish police viewed their presence near the home of the head of Gripen fighter jet manufacturer Saab as a potential threat to national security.

The Russians set up a tent and were using walkie-talkies near the home of the person under protection.
According to local media reports, the Russian couple stopped near a country house where Saab CEO Mikael Johansson was staying. The house does not belong to Johansson; it is owned by someone close to the company’s CEO.
The Russian couple claims they were on a fishing trip.
They now face the possibility of deportation to Russia, although, as the publication notes, they openly oppose the war.
As a reminder, Saab is a Swedish defense and aerospace company that develops and manufactures the JAS 39 Gripen multi-role fighter jets.
