Tel Aviv searches for dolphin returned to sea after beaching
In Tel Aviv, Israel, the Israel Nature and Parks Authority asked the public to help find a dolphin that washed ashore at Jerusalem Beach. According to the Jerusalem Post, civilians returned the animal to the sea in the morning.
Concerns over an injury to the animal
The authority said the dolphin may be injured and require assistance. The agency asked people who see the animal not to return it to the water on their own.

Instead, members of the public were urged to call the Nature and Parks Authority hotline at 3639. People were also asked to remain near the dolphin until a professional team arrives.
Specialist assistance
The authority noted that once specialists arrive, they will be able to take the animal for assistance and treatment. The appeal to the public was issued on Tuesday after the dolphin was seen on the shore in Tel Aviv-Yafo, at Jerusalem Beach.
