An 18-year-old Ukrainian man was arrested in Wrocław for attacking a Polish woman with a knife

In Wrocław, Poland, law enforcement officers detained an 18-year-old Ukrainian citizen accused of stabbing a local woman. According to police, the incident occurred on the evening of August 1 near the entrance to an apartment building. The attacker stabbed the woman several times and fled the scene.

The victim was hospitalized, and the suspect was apprehended shortly thereafter. The case has been classified as attempted murder. At this time, the motives for the crime and any possible connection between the attacker and the victim have not been disclosed, and Poland’s Minister of the Interior, Marcin Kierwiński, has taken control of the investigation.
