In Warsaw, Ukrainian Oleksandr Shevchenko interrupted a Polish television broadcast to ask Poles not to insult Ukrainians by saying “f*ck off to Ukraine.” The incident occurred on May 27 during a live broadcast of a press conference in the Polish capital.
After the briefing ended, the man stepped out of the crowd and addressed the audience.
“I have one request on behalf of all Ukrainians who currently live in Poland, work here, and pay taxes. To the entire Polish nation and to Poles who may be watching this live broadcast across Poland,” he said.
After that, the Ukrainian asked Poles not to use offensive language toward Ukrainian citizens.
“Dear friends, don’t say to Ukrainians: ‘F*ck off to Ukraine from Poland.’ That’s not okay; it’s not friendly. We are brothers and sisters,” Shevchenko stated.
He also suggested that disputes between Ukrainians and Poles could benefit Russia.
Later, the man explained on Instagram that he had accidentally seen a large number of journalists and decided to seize the moment to address them.
According to him, such remarks directed at Ukrainians are “unpleasant to hear.”
Poland warnedRussia of the consequences of strikes on diplomatic missions in Kyiv.
The U.S. has approved the launch of production of missiles for Patriot air defense systems on Polish territory, effectively opening a new phase in cooperation between the defense sectors of the two countries. Washington’s decision allows Warsaw to expand production within a Polish consortium of defense companies and gradually strengthen its own military capabilities.
