In Australia, man pleads guilty to murdering Eva Lasrini
In Australia, 68-year-old Allen Keys has pleaded guilty to the murder of 53-year-old Eva Lasrini, a mother of two from Dandenong. He appeared before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court via video link from the city remand centre.
Guilty plea
Keys admitted that he killed Lasrini on April 1 in Little River, between Melbourne and Geelong. During the brief hearing, he spoke only to confirm his guilty plea, ABC News reports.
The next directions hearing at the Supreme Court of Victoria was scheduled for September 28.

Detention and search for the woman
Lasrini was reported missing after she failed to contact her family as expected. Her body was found on April 4 near the intersection of Little River Road and the Princes Freeway in Little River.
Keys, who lives in Patterson Lakes in southern Melbourne, was detained on April 3 at Melbourne International Airport as he was attempting to board an international flight. He was taken into custody on a murder charge.
Lasrini was remembered as a devoted mother of two daughters. She was studying English and wrote on social media about having the opportunity to study.
