In Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz instructed the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to prepare for large-scale action against senior officials of the Palestinian Authority (PA), structures associated with it, and terrorist infrastructure in the West Bank.
Statement after the attack near Qusra
As The Jerusalem Post reports, Katz made the statement after a stabbing attack at the Maoz Yehuda farm near Qusra. As a result of the attack, the farm owner sustained moderate or serious injuries.
According to the defense minister, he and Netanyahu ordered the military to prepare to launch a large-scale campaign against the leaders and structures of the Palestinian Authority, bodies associated with them, and all terrorist infrastructure in Judea and Samaria. Katz said the goal was the swift and complete defeat of these forces.

Netanyahu's statement and IDF drills
Netanyahu separately stated that no terrorist would have anywhere to hide. He supported the military personnel who tried to reach the attacker and eliminate him, and also wished the wounded farm owner a speedy recovery.
The prime minister stated that Israel would continue to eliminate terrorists, pursue those who direct them, and destroy terrorist infrastructure in the West Bank.
Since Sunday, the IDF has been conducting several drills to assess combat readiness in the event of an attack similar to the October 7 attack. The publication mentions the surprise Operation Dawn 2.0 drill, as well as the Advancing the Wall and Southern Wind operations in the Eilat area and along Israel's western border.
