Child dies in Australia after suspected stabbing — ABC News Australia
A child has died after a suspected stabbing in the Blue Mountains area of New South Wales, Australia. Two other children and a woman are in critical condition, ABC News Australia reports.
The injured were found in a car
According to New South Wales Police, all three children were under the age of five, while the woman was in her 40s. Shortly before 13:00, emergency services received a report of three children and a woman with stab wounds in a car on Waratah Road in Valley Heights, near Springwood.

Bystanders provided assistance
Police said one child was found dead in the car. Ambulance paramedics treated the other two children and the woman at the scene before they were taken to Westmead Hospital and The Children's Hospital at Westmead. While emergency services were being called, several people present provided first aid to the victims.
