Bodies of three people found in burned-out car in Israel
Early Sunday near Jatt, Israel, the bodies of three people were found in a burned-out car. They were in the back seat of a vehicle left in an open area in the Sharon region, The Jerusalem Post reports.
Identities of the deceased
Police identified the deceased as brothers Zain and Kassem Odeh, aged 16 and 19, and their cousin Yahya Basimi, who was 22. All three were residents of Jaljulia.
Police suspect they were shot before the car was set on fire. The vehicle was found approximately 36 kilometers north of Jaljulia. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been reported.

Jaljulia Mayor Rabi Darwish said the city was gripped by mourning and that residents learned about the incident mainly through social media. He called on the government to take action against violent crime in Arab society.
According to the non-governmental organization Abraham Initiatives, following this incident, the number of people killed in criminal incidents in the Arab sector in 2026 reached 176. During the same period of the previous year, the organization recorded 179 killings.
Magen David Adom emergency medical service personnel said that after extinguishing the fire, they found three people in the vehicle without a pulse or breathing and pronounced them dead at the scene.
