In the United Arab Emirates, external power supply to the third power unit of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant has been restored following a drone attack near the plant.
According to the agency, the drone strike the day before caused a fire in an electrical generator near the nuclear facility, resulting in the loss of external power.
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi stated that following the restoration of power, the reactor no longer requires emergency diesel generators to ensure power supply.
