In Russia, frequent mobile internet outages are significantly hampering the work of medical professionals. More than half of doctors (54%) said that connectivity issues are seriously affecting their work.

This is reported by Russian media.

According to a survey by the “Doctor’s Handbook” app, some hospitals lack wired internet, effectively cutting staff off from their work systems. Most often, medical professionals are unable to check medication dosages, consult clinical reference guides, or promptly transmit patient data.
