The Russian town of Engels has been suffering from sewage flooding for over two weeks
In the city of Engels in the Saratov Region, the aftermath of an accident involving the main sewer line has been ongoing for more than two weeks. As a result of the incident, sewage has flooded streets, basements of residential buildings, yards, as well as school and kindergarten grounds.
This was reported by Belarusian media.
The accident occurred in late April due to the collapse of a section of the pipeline. Some residents were left without water supply, and reduced water pressure was recorded in over a hundred apartment buildings.
Despite statements about the gradual resolution of the situation, local residents complain of a strong odor, flooding, and the risk of spreading infections, and they criticize the authorities for their slow response.

Following the attack in Ryazan, seven Russians were hospitalized.
